At only 27, Chef JB is the youngest to have been awarded a Michelin Star in 2002. He hailed from the small village of Colombey les Deux Eglises in France. He developed his passion for cooking at the early age of 14, when he had his first culinary course. For years, he travelled around France and abroad and have worked with the likes of Christian Willer (La Palme d'Or at the Martinez, Cannes), Daniel Boulud (New York). He returned to France in 2001 to help in their family restaurant and earned the restaurant it’s 1^st Michelin Star in 2002 and has retained it since then. To make good cooking, Chef JB leans towards simplicity, using local ingredients and fresh produce that are in season and then adding his brand of creativity and inventiveness.

Know the masterful workings of a Michelin starred chef, as Chef JB takes over Cauayan Island Resort’s kitchen in an intimate cooking demo. The demo is then followed by the gala dinner. Indulge the night away, as we serve decadent dishes inspired by Chef JB, paired with superb wines from Sommelier Selections, some classy music and a luxurious island vibe.
